The TRDP gives enrollees broad access to their program coverage by allowing them choices in selecting a dentist. Enrollees in the Basic and Enhanced TRDP can see any licensed dentist within their service area for treatment, or they can select a participating TRDP network dentist for further cost-savings. Although Delta Dental does not maintain a TRDP participating dentist network outside of the Basic and Enhanced TRDP service area (or in Canada or the Northern Mariana Islands), enrollees in the Enhanced-Overseas TRDP can see any licensed dentist they choose, anywhere in the world.

Overseas Resources
If you are a TRDP enrollee living in Canada, the Northern Mariana Islands or overseas and you have an existing relationship with a dentist, you may continue to see that dentist. If you have not already established care with a dentist overseas, there are two resources available to assist you in finding a dentist.

Important: There is no dentist network available overseas nor any resultant savings or discount for dental treatment provided overseas.

The following resources are provided to TRDP enrollees for information only.  There is no representation of approval by or network affiliation with Delta Dental when treatment is provided by any dentist listed through these resources.

Host Nation Provider List (HNPL)
TRDP enrollees living in Canada and the Northern Mariana Islands, Enhanced Program enrollees needing emergency dental care when traveling overseas, and enrollees living overseas who are enrolled in the Enhanced-Overseas Program may also select a dentist from the online Host Nation Provider List (HNPL) by clicking on one of the links below. Enrollees should check back frequently for the most current list of available HNPL dentists.

I-SOS, Inc. 24-Hour Referral Service
Although Delta Dental does not maintain a TRDP participating dentist network outside of the Basic and Enhanced TRDP service area (or in Canada or the Northern Mariana Islands), TRDP enrollees living in Canada and the Northern Mariana Islands,  Enhanced Program enrollees needing emergency dental care when traveling overseas, and enrollees living overseas who are enrolled in the Enhanced-Overseas Program may call the International SOS Assistance, Inc. (I-SOS) referral service for a list of over 3,000 dentists and dental clinics in nearly 200 countries.

English-speaking I-SOS operators are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help you find a dentist. When you call I-SOS from outside the U.S., you must first dial the international dialing code from the country in which you are located and then the country code for the U.S. (“1”). Be sure to tell the I-SOS operator that Delta Dental is your dental coverage carrier and that you are calling collect, if applicable, and specify the city and country in which you are looking for a dentist.
